Join renowned flutist Jennifer Grim in conversation as she shares her inspiring life story following a four-course gourmet dinner paired with a specially curated selection of wines. Vintners Robin and Andréa McBride of the McBride Sisters Wine Company will also speak about their work and the creation of the McBride Sisters SHE CAN Fund.
Celebrating the accomplishments of nationally recognized female artists and women leaders in the wine business, Women in the Arts at The Meritage is a special event speaker series which takes place in an exclusive and intimate setting at The Meritage Resort and Spa.
Grim has gained broad international acclaim through performances with such renowned ensembles as the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble, Zéphyros Winds, and the New York Chamber Soloists. She also serves as principal flute of the Mostly Mozart Orchestra of New York and the Santo Domingo Festival Orchestra, and has performed throughout the United States as well as in China, Colombia, Panama, Dominican Republic, Ukraine, the Netherlands, and Spain. She is currently associate professor at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, President of the board of Chamber Music America, and holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Yale University.
Proceeds from the evening benefit the McBride Sisters SHE CAN Fund in support of professional women working in the wine business.

Hailed as "a deft, smooth flute soloist" by the New York Times, Jennifer Grim's remarkable depth and breadth as a performer of solo and chamber repertoire has gained broad national acclaim. Grim is currently an associate professor at The Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, and she serves on the Board of Directors of Chamber Music America.
