Kathryn and Craig Hall are known for their commitment to sustainable winemaking practices, and their passion for hospitality and art is reflected in every aspect of their spectacular winery, HALL St. Helena. In 2003 they purchased the circa 1885 Bergfeld Winery with the intention of creating a place of stunning beauty that would match the exquisite wines they produce. They installed dozens of original artworks, restored and modernized the nineteenth-century architecture, and revitalized the vineyards. Today HALL Winery is truly a destination that combines the best of the past and the future.
The Halls invite guests to explore their estate and vast contemporary art collection, with works by John Baldessari, Nick Cave, Shahzia Sikander, and more. A live performance and elegant meal, expertly paired with outstanding wines from HALL and WALT, completes the evening.

Festival Napa Valley board member Kathryn Walt Hall and her husband Craig share a vision of artisan wines alongside expressive art and masterful architecture. HALL Wines blends traditional techniques, modern technology, and a commitment to environmental responsibility to produce exceptional California-style Bordeaux varietals that are an expression of the terroir from which they come. Indeed, sustainability is HALL’s guiding principle, expressed not merely in its LEED® Gold certified facilities or its organic vineyards, but also in its enduring commitment to supporting the arts in Napa Valley and beyond.
