Freemark Abbey
3022 St Helena Hwy | St. Helena
A legend in Napa Valley winemaking since 1886, Freemark Abbey is steeped in history and renowned for innovation – from its founding by one of the valley’s first female vintners to establishing one of the region’s earliest wine libraries to pioneering single vineyard wines. Today, winemaker Kristy Melton shepherds the production of its internationally esteemed Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Bordeaux style wines with forward-thinking vision, love of tradition, and expert finesse.
Freemark Abbey’s grand estate, featuring a hand-built stone winery surrounded by acres of rolling vineyards, provides the spectacular setting for this evening of food, wine, and celebration. Guests will enjoy a very special gourmet dinner paired with superb vintages from its legendary cellar.

Freemark Abbey's history, spanning three centuries, is a story of firsts. It was one of the first wineries to emerge from Prohibition, open a tasting room, and experiment with single varietal and single-vineyard wines, helping to propel Napa Valley onto the world stage in the 1976 Judgment of Paris tasting.
