Experience the essence of la dolce vita at this historic evening honoring the Academy Award-winning actress and silver screen icon, Sophia Loren. Festivities begin at Charles Krug, where the Festival celebrates Loren’s legacy with a captivating concert bringing together exceptional music, talent, and family. Maestro Carlo Ponti, Sophia Loren’s son, leads his dynamic Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra, and Carlo’s own son, 16-year-old pianist Vittorio Ponti, makes his festival debut.

Food will be available for purchase at Festival Napa Valley's Culinary Garden at Charles Krug from FoodshedMonday Bakery, and Ray Ray's Tacos. Wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and caviar from Calvisius Caviar Co. will be available for purchase from Charles Krug.

Maestro Carlo Ponti is known for taking audiences on musical journeys of unique interpretive depth. Ponti is the founder and director of the Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra, and he has served as Associate Conductor of the Russian National Orchestra and Music Director and Principal Conductor of the San Bernardino Symphony.

Vittorio Ponti
Vittorio Ponti

Making his debut with the Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra, Vittorio is the elder child of Maestro Carlo Ponti. He has been studying the piano in Los Angeles, California with Ms. Ivana Grubelic Malo since the age of six and has already garnered accolades at international competitions and festivals.
