Acclaimed American soprano Lisa Delan, pianist Kevin Korth, and clarinetist David Barnett perform a recital of art songs, including the world premiere of Jake Heggie's Unlocked together with his Three Folk Songs. The program also includes Carl Loewe’s Scottish Images and selections from Louis Spohr's rarely performed Six German Songs.

Performers
Soprano Lisa Delan has performed on some of the world’s leading concert stages, including Lincoln Center, Davies Symphony Hall, Madrid’s Auditorio Nacional, Moscow Conservatory, Tchaikovsky Hall, and Windsor Castle. She has a prolific discography that includes 11 recordings for the Pentatone label and 79 world premieres.
Pianist Kevin Korth is an acclaimed recitalist and coach who has collaborated with leading artists including Frederica von Stade, Isabel Leonard, Jake Heggie, and Nadine Sierra. Praised by Gramophone for his “superb” playing and expressive color, Korth released Out of the Shadows, a celebrated American art song recording with soprano Lisa Delan and cellist Matt Haimovitz.
David Barnett is a performer and teacher of both modern and historical clarinets and recorder. Based in the Bay Area, his musical interests span the gamut of medieval through contemporary. His playing has been described as "as compelling as anything since the pied piper" (San Francisco Chronicle). Barnett was Music Director for the notorious San Francisco arts group, the Noh Oratorio Society, and with them performed the world and U.S. premieres of works by Harrison Birtwistle, Gordon Cross, Charles Shere and Richard Felciano, among others.
