This season we celebrate the power of art to build a global community.

More than eight decades ago, a Japanese diplomat named Chiune Sugihara risked his life to save thousands of Jewish refugees during World War II. We honor him with the Northern California debut of Lera Auerbach’s powerful symphonic work, Vessels of Light, performed by cello virtuoso Kristina Reiko Cooper. Through music, Auerbach and Cooper remind us of the power of compassion, character, and courage in the face of adversity.

With Reunited in Dance, we bring together a star-studded ensemble of dancers displaced by the war in Ukraine. These dancers embody hope and perseverance, reminding us that even amidst great tragedy, the human spirit endures.

These are just two examples of how art can bring our world together. A roster of extraordinary artists from around the globe — including renowned Spanish guitarist Pablo Sáinz Villegas, Italian singer and songwriter Matteo Bocelli, Catalonian soprano Serena Sáenz, Russian piano sensation Alexander Malofeev, and many more — join us in Napa Valley this July.

Through music and dance, we build bridges across cultures, promote understanding, and deepen our empathy; there is no better place to do this than in Napa Valley, a region that embodies a spirit of innovation, generosity, and optimism.

This is our work. We continue to make the arts accessible to all. We invest in the next generation — providing meaningful educational opportunities, supporting young and talented musicians, and shining a spotlight on emerging artists. We are honored to be able to do it. And whether you’re appreciating the bounty of Napa Valley, enjoying a concert under the stars, or exploring the natural beauty of the region, you are part of a global community that believes art transcends boundaries, strengthening and connecting us all.

Thank you for joining us.
