Tim Busch

Tim Busch is a businessman, lawyer, and Catholic philanthropist based in Orange County, California. Tim and Steph Busch have owned Trinitas Cellars in Napa California for 22 years which was born from the guiding belief of the Busch Family that with family, faith, and perseverance, anything is possible. These values have illuminated their path to, and successes within, world-class resort hospitality.

The family thru Pacific Hospitality Group started the Meritage Resort and Spa in 2006 which has grown to 467 rooms and multiple experiences on over 40 acres of property in Napa, CA. This property is the flagship of 14 hotels including Pasea in Huntington Beach, Koa Kea Resort in Kauai, Hotel Viata in Austin, TX along with other branded hotels by Marriott, Hyatt, and Doubletree.

Tim and Steph have been married for 39 years and have two children, Garrett and Mackenzie, and ten grandchildren. Tim is the Chairman of the Busch Group, a family of companies that includes a law firm, hotel management and development company, Trinitas Cellars, and multiple faith based non-profit organizations.

Tim and Steph have been active members of Legatus, an organization of Catholic CEOs since 1990. With Fr Robert Spitzer, S.J., Tim and Steph co-founded the Magis Institute, Napa Institute, and the Napa Legal Institute.

As long-time advocates of private Catholic schooling, Tim and Steph co-founded St. Anne Catholic Elementary School in Laguna Niguel, CA in 1992 and JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, CA in 2003. The Catholic University of America, a Pontifical University in Washington, D.C. named its business school the Tim and Steph Busch School of Business, in recognition of Tim and Steph’s generous support of the school.
