Robert Torres

Principal, Vice Chairman & Director of Trinchero Family Estates, Robert “Bob” Torres was born in St. Helena. He is the son of Trinchero Family Estates Founder Vera Trinchero Torres, and nephew of Founders Bob and Roger Trinchero.

After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Architecture in 1983, Bob began working at Trinchero Family Estates full-time, overseeing the tremendous growth of their facilities. In 2004, the family purchased the Folie à Deux property north of St. Helena and began working on what is now their flagship winery, Trinchero Napa Valley. Bob shaped the creative vision of the 22,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art winery. Rich with historical details, it tells the story of the Trinchero family’s journey from Italy to New York City to the Napa Valley.

Bob currently plays a pivotal role in remodeling the Trinchero Family Estates production facility that resides on Main Street, in the heart of Napa Valley. These facility transformations and others have allowed the family’s portfolio to accommodate the 50+ brands it encompasses today.

Bob makes his home in Napa with his wife, Maria Torres. He has two children and is based in Trinchero Family Estates’ St. Helena office. Bob joined Festival Napa Valley’s Board of Directors in 2018.
