Amanda Harlan Maltas

Amanda Harlan Maltas is Director of Communications for The Napa Valley Reserve and Meadowood Napa Valley, and ambassador for the Harlan Family Domain and its iconic labels.

Born and raised in the Napa Valley, Amanda was immersed from an early age in the cultural, social, entrepreneurial, and philanthropic life of the region. She traveled widely as a competitive amateur dressage rider before returning to the community in 2014 to join the Harlan Family Domain. Today, she plays an integral role in developing the culture of the family’s businesses. 

Strongly committed to both the Napa Valley and equestrian communities, Amanda joined the Equestrian Aid Foundation’s board of directors in 2021. She also heads the Harlan family’s philanthropic initiatives, including serving as chair of The Invictus Fund, founded in 2017 to help employees who lost homes or were displaced by wildfires.

Last November Amanda married Jason Maltas, and the couple divides their time between Los Angeles and Napa Valley.
