Alycia Mondavi was born into one of Napa Valley’s most prominent wine families—one that has owned and operated C. Mondavi and Family since 1943. She started working odd jobs at the family’s Charles Krug winery at the age of ten, and learned all aspects of the business from the laboratory to the hospitality center. Along with her three sisters, Angelina, Riana, and Giovanna, she launched the Mondavi Sisters’ Collection in 2005, which now includes Aloft and Dark Matter wines.
In 2007, Mondavi graduated from the University of San Diego with a degree in marketing and management. For the next four years she worked as a paralegal in a law firm located in the Napa Valley and as an assistant marketing consultant for eight ultra-premium Napa Valley wine labels. Those experiences enabled her to study various avenues in the wine industry, including viticultural practices, wine compliance, grape contracts, launching new wine brands, and luxury brand marketing.
Today, she manages the daily operations for Mondavi Sisters’ Collection as CEO and Co- Proprietress with her three sisters. She also continues to work closely with her family as a brand ambassador for C. Mondavi & Family.
Mondavi spends much of her free time working on charitable causes throughout the US. In 2018, she and her three sisters made history as the youngest chairs of Auction Napa Valley. She has served on the board of Giant Steps, a therapeutic equine program, and is a currently serving on the board of Napa Valley Vintners. Mondavi joined the Board of Directors of Festival Napa Valley in 2022.
