Manetti Shrem Opera: Gaetano Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore at Charles Krug

The exhilarating soprano Andriana Chuchman returns to Festival Napa Valley to headline L’elisir d’amore, Donizetti’s 1832 comic masterpiece, reprising the role of Adina, with which she made her 2014 Metropolitan Opera debut. The outstanding cast includes tenor Mario Chang as the lovestruck peasant Nemorino, soprano Mikayla Sager as Adina’s friend Giannetta, and singers from the Festival’s Manetti Shrem Summer Conservatory. Directed by Jean-Romain Vesperini with video sets by Anouar Brissel, and Gemma New conducting Festival Orchestra Napa.
