Wine Country’s Signature Arts Charity Event Has Raised Over $24 Million to Date

Festival Napa Valley is pleased to announce that international superstar Lionel Richie will headline the Arts for All Gala at Oakville’s Nickel & Nickel Winery on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

Crowning the opening weekend of Festival Napa Valley’s summer season, the Arts for All Gala has become one of the nation’s premier arts charity events, raising over $24 million since its inception to support free and affordable access to performances, inspiring education programs, and scholarships for students and emerging musicians.

“The Arts for All Gala is an exciting and important night for Napa Valley,” said vintner Leslie Frank, gala chair and Festival board member. “The funds raised support the Festival’s year-round programs that make the arts available to all, improving the quality of life in Napa Valley and creating a more vibrant community.”

Lionel Richie first gained fame as a member of the Commodores and later pursued a successful solo career known for hits like “Hello,” “All Night Long,” and “Say You, Say Me.” He has sold more than 125 million albums worldwide and is an Oscar®, Golden Globe®, and four-time Grammy Award® winner. Currently, Richie is a judge on ABC’s American Idol. His acclaimed “Lionel Richie: King of Hearts” is in residency at the Wynn Encore Theater in Las Vegas.

Guests will enjoy an elegant dinner prepared by rising star chef Elliot Bell, owner of Charlie’s in St. Helena, paired with single vineyard wines provided by Nickel & Nickel Winery at their historic farmstead property in the heart of Oakville, and will have the chance to win once-in-a-lifetime luxury travel, wine, and performing arts experiences in a fast paced live auction led by Emmy award-winning auctioneer John Curley.
