Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra

Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra

Based in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra (LAV) is an orchestra of professional musicians dedicated to the advocacy and support of music education, envisioning a world in which every young person has access to music education.

LAV's mission is to serve as a catalyst for music education through collaborative partnerships with the community, schools, agencies, and other arts organizations. It allocates 100% of its net income from performances to support and develop music education.

Founded in 2013 as a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization and debuting at Festival Napa Valley in 2014, the ensemble was formed on the core belief that the orchestra is a unique educational resource and that the study of music develops cooperation, self-esteem, creativity, commitment, discipline, and perseverance.
