In Napa Valley, the letter B can bring to mind several evocative words: beauty, breathtaking, brix (the symbol of B Cellars). And barbeque – which was where B Cellars’ founders Jim Borsack and Duffy Keys first met on a Fourth of July holiday back in 2002.
It was over a few glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon, surrounded by the stunning scenery of Napa Valley, that they realized they had a shared goal: to create complex, perfectly balanced, artisanal wines. And, along with winemaker Kirk Venge (named “One of the Top 20 New Winemakers in the World” by Food & Wine magazine), they did just that.
Guests at today’s Patron Dinner will experience B Cellars’ superb wines paired with a gourmet meal by estate chef Derick Kuntz, in the dramatic Grand Salon Wine Cave.
The B Cellars name and logo stand for a commitment to seasonless excellence. The letter ‘b’ and the degree symbol º refer to BRIX, a wine term which defines the optimal sugar/alcohol content in grape juice that indicates the potential for greatness. B Cellars is committed to the artisan approach, creating perfectly balanced and complex wines.
