The brightest new star on the percussion scene, Mitya Nilov makes his Festival Napa Valley debut. He is the first percussionist in 15 years to win the Concert Artists Guild International Competition (2018). Celebrated for his distinctive musical voice, sensitivity and dynamic stage presence, he has appeared in some of the world’s top concert halls, including the Alte Oper Frankfurt, Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonia, the Mariinsky Theater Concert Hall, and the New World Center in Miami.

Dr. Liana Pailodze Harron’s musical accomplishments span both classical and contemporary styles. A versatile pianist and seasoned educator, she first emerged as a soloist at the age of eight.
