Apollo 11 Film Screening at Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center

On the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing, Festival Napa Valley hosts a film screening of Apollo 11, the acclaimed 2019 documentary film by Todd Douglass Miller. The film consists solely of archival footage, including never-before-seen footage and audio recordings that take you straight into the heart of NASA’s most celebrated mission. Reserve the edge of your seat and journey with astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin as they embark on a historic trip to the moon.

Apollo 11 is wholly different from what we've seen before, told from many perspectives heretofore lost in the rush to make heroes out of a few. This documentary has the ability to freshly surprise us with 50-year-old footage, turning us back into kids staring in wonder, wide-eyed, as we watched a rocket take off for the very first time.”
