Vintner's Luncheon at The Ink House Hosted by Castellucci Napa Valley
12:00 PM
sold out
The Castellucci family invites guests to experience their generous, warm hospitality first hand at today’s luncheon at The Ink House, a historic, newly restored luxury inn.

A Napa Valley landmark for more than 130 years, The Ink House is the first in the family’s collection of estates and inns to launch this year as part of their new endeavor, Castellucci Napa Valley.  Blending Italian elegance with Napa Valley sophistication, lunch will feature an exquisite chef-prepared menu paired with the family’s own wines, including their flagship Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon.

The historic, two-story Italianate residence was originally built in 1885 by Theron Ink, one of California’s most successful agriculturalists, and guests will be among the first to view its new, dedicated-to-luxury incarnation.
Vintner's Luncheon at Las Alcobas
12:00 PM
Since its grand opening earlier this year, luxury resort Las Alcobas has been a bright star on the Napa Valley scene. This expansive endeavor to renovate the circa-1906 Grandview Hotel & Spa pays careful homage to the history of the place upon which it sits. Located a stone’s throw from downtown St. Helena, stunning vineyard views abound.

Today’s intimate luncheon is at Las Alcobas’ hyperseasonal restaurant, Acacia House. This hot-ticket destination is helmed by famed chef Chris Cosentino, well known to the Bay Area via his celebrated eatery Incanto and to the world for winning the mantle of Top Chef Master on the hit television show. Guests will enjoy an unforgettable meal paired with exquisite wines from Tournesol Estate.
Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends - New Worlds
From Hemingway to Bach
First Republic Bank Stage at Lincoln Theater
6:00 PM
In addition to being a fine actor and one of the funniest people on the planet, Bill Murray is a lover of poetry and superior prose. His passion for both, and his friendship with acclaimed cellist Jan Vogler, led to this singular evening of music and words.

Performing with a chamber trio, the irresistible Murray will read various texts – poems by Whitman, and passages from Twain’s Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Hemingway’s A Moveable Feast, and Capote’s Breakfast at Tiffany's– interspersed with instrumental pieces by Bach, Ravel and Piazzolla and classic songs by the Gershwins, Bernstein, and Stephen Foster. New Worlds is a fascinating encounter between great music and great literature, starring masters of their art.
