Napa Regional Dance Company

Napa Regional Dance Company was founded in 1988, with a mission to provide excellent dance training and education, while promoting dance as an art form. Its instructors have performed with such groups as American Ballet Theater, Dance Theater of Harlem, Oakland Ballet, Ballet West, Joffrey Ballet, and the Boston Conservatory.

NRDC currently offers a year-round curriculum for boys and girls in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, and choreography, in addition to several performance opportunities per year. The annual production of the classical ballet The Nutcracker is presented to the Napa Valley Community during the holiday season, and a year-end Student Showcase, presenting repertoire of classical and contemporary dance works, is held each spring. NRDC offers educational outreach programs to schools in the area through lecture demonstrations. NRDC made its Festival Napa Valley debut in 2016 with a special program prepared by the students and faculty of its 2016 Summer Intensive.
