Festival Napa Valley's 15th Anniversary Season has been postponed to 2021.

July 9-25, 2021

Life at the Festival

Throughout Festival Napa Valley, Academy musicians perform concerts and take part in professional development activities, including:

  • Chamber music ensembles, performing with festival guest artists
  • Orchestral concerts sitting alongside internationally renowned musicians
  • Sectionals and master classes
  • Seminars and lectures led by industry experts

Guest artists and clinicians for 2020 include Joshua Bell, Jeremy Denk, James Conlon, members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Symphony and other major orchestras.

Academy musicians have time to explore Napa Valley, both on their own and in festival-sponsored activities. Hike along the mountain vineyards overlooking Napa Valley, taste some of the best food to be found anywhere, or experience what Napa’s legendary wine is all about!

Housing is provided with local host families, who are invited to many Academy concerts and activities, and can also serve as guides and sources of information about where to go and what to see in Napa Valley.

While many activities take place around downtown Napa, participants find that having access to their own car is very useful, as public transportation is limited. Alternatively, Uber and similar services are available.
