Festival Napa Valley Blackburn Music Academy is a tuition-free summer music program from July 5 to 21st for instrumentalists age 18-36. Each academy musician performs chamber music and orchestral concerts throughout the Napa Valley alongside internationally renowned musicians. Housing with host families is provided for all musicians and some but not all meals are provided. Transportation to, from, and during the festival is not provided, though modest transportation stipends are provided.
To apply to the 2019 Festival Napa Valley Blackburn Music Academy, please submit the following materials by midnight on March 1, 2019:
All applicants will be notified by March 20, whether they are invited to the festival. Notifications will be sent out via email. Acceptance and required registration fees (see below) must be submitted within two weeks to reserve one's place at the Academy for the 2019 season.

Transportation to and from the festival is not provided. Some transportation during the festival provided but a car is highly recommended. Breakfast and lunch is provided each day for participants and occasional dinners. There are modest stipends provided for travel and food.
