Sarah joined Festival Napa Valley in June 2021. Prior to her work with Festival Napa Valley, she was the Patron Engagement Director at Classical Tahoe Festival & Music Institute, and the Membership Benefits and Programs Senior Coordinator at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
Sarah holds a Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies, Arts and Culture: Program Management and Development from the University of Denver. Sarah’s capstone project explored the contemporary role of the museum with suggestions for inclusion programming in the context of linguistic challenges defining the genre of outsider art. Sarah interned with Curious Theatre Company, participated in University of Denver’s Roger Salters Writing Institute, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She grew up in Ridgefield, Connecticut and lives in beautiful South Lake Tahoe, CA with her husband Kyle and their pup Iggy.
In addition to enjoying art, music and exploring Napa Valley, Sarah can be found riding around Heavenly Mountain, surfing in Santa Cruz, antiquing, reading, and cooking. In 2020, she founded We Are All Guests Here, a mail art project and digital gallery which hosted a fundraiser for the social justice organization, Until Freedom. She held a board position with Tahoe Arts Alliance 2018-2021, and currently volunteers with Bread & Broth, supporting food insecure residents of South Lake Tahoe.
