This year’s Festival Napa Valley Fall Concert features Welsh singing sensation Katherine Jenkins in a family-friendly performance at the Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center.
Ms. Jenkins, who at the age of 23 signed the largest record deal in UK classical recording history, has sold over 7 million copies worldwide and was the first female artist to win two consecutive Classical BRIT Awards for Album of the Year. She is the top selling classical recording artist in Britain in the past 25 years. Her talent has caught the attention of British royalty and other prominent figures, with performances for the Queen of England, Pope John Paul II, and the UK Prime Minister among others.
In addition to her powerful voice, Jenkins’ high profile has led to appearances on television shows including Britain’s Got Talent and The Apprentice, touring with ballerina Darcey Bussell in their Viva La Diva production, and winning over American audiences as runner up on Season 14 of Dancing with the Stars.
